Membership

Benefactor

Take an active role in Australia’s health standards community.

Benefactor Membership is designed for organisations seeking a high level of participation in HL7 Australia and an active role in the development, implementation and adoption of health information standards in Australia.

It provides broad participation across your organisation, a strong organisational voice and greater opportunities to contribute to and engage with the HL7 Australia community.

A membership for organisations that want to contribute

Health information standards are strengthened by the experience of the organisations that develop, implement and use them.

Benefactor Membership enables organisations to bring expertise from across their teams into the HL7 Australia community and contribute their experience to standards development, implementation and adoption.

It is well suited to healthcare organisations, technology companies, government bodies, research organisations, consultancies and other organisations with a significant interest in health information standards and Australia’s digital health environment.

This can enable clinical, technical, policy, implementation, product and other expertise from across your organisation to become involved.

Your organisation also holds nine votes at HL7 Australia General Meetings and Member ballots, providing greater organisational participation in HL7 Australia’s member-based governance and standards community.

Support standards development in Australia

Benefactor Members make an important contribution to the capability and sustainability of HL7 Australia as a standards development organisation.

Membership supports our work to bring stakeholders together, develop and maintain health information standards, strengthen standards capability and create opportunities for the community to collaborate, test and learn.

For Benefactor Members, this also creates greater opportunities to stay connected with standards development and bring practical implementation experience and organisational expertise into the HL7 Australia community.

Is Benefactor Membership right for your organisation?

Benefactor Membership is HL7 Australia’s premium organisational membership for organisations seeking a high level of participation, representation and engagement.

It is particularly suited to organisations that want people from across their organisation involved in HL7 Australia, have a significant interest in health information standards, and want to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to supporting standards development in Australia.

If your organisation requires fewer representatives or a different level of participation, Gold or Silver Membership may be a better fit.

Organisations seeking a deeper, long-term strategic relationship with HL7 Australia and playing a significant national, jurisdictional or system-wide role may wish to discuss Partner Membership with us.
